Baylee's 6th grade class went to Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah and needed parent volunteers so I decided to go. We went there to go cross country skiing and that was where the 2002 Olympics Cross Country Skiing Venue was. Baylee was not excited from the get go and I WAS excited. So she and I went around the track once and Baylee was done! She told me over and over again that she would much rather go down hill skiing which is the complete opposite of me. So she went inside the lodge with some of her friends and I went around the track a couple of more times and went off on some other trails. I loved it!! Very therapeutic and what a workout!! I think this might be my new passion!
What a cute picture of you and Baylee! I'm glad that you have found some form of skiing that you enjoy, ha ha! I would have loved to have tried it out with you! (How come we don't live closer??)
